Legend research vessel of TORI of NARLabs had accomplished the first voyage on the date of April 2nd.  The breakthroughs of the voyage are discovering collapse layer exists in stradum of foot of the 4,000 meter-high Legend Mountain under the ocean, accomplishing the weather data of 20 kilometer high above and 1.8 meter deep below the sea level and collecting sample of gas hydrate by ROV system at the location in the center region of South China Sea.

Confirming the South China Sea asthenosphere flows eastward and the potential possibility of major earthquakes and tsunami risks might bring.
